Sorry I was out of town

I know it has been a couple of weeks since I had written anything but I was out of town (leave me alone). Heather and I went back east to West Virginia and Kentucky to visit family and get lots of gifts for Ollie. It is always nice to see family but why do they always complain about not staying long enough or you are seeing the other family more. They must think I am made of money or something, Heather and I do not get paid if we do not go to work (DUH). Anyway we ahd to baby showers that were good. We got lots of toys and clothes and money. So now I need to get on decotrating Ollies room. No more procrastination. I do think that it will be fun though, we are doing a dino them and maybe I can get Jordan to help out Mr. daily dino. It will give me a project that I can be creative with and maybe get some new power tools. power tools are cool. I also got give a lecture for the capstone class at my undergraduate school Morehead which was fun. I got to see some of my old teachers, but I will say it is strange to look at them as peers now instead of authority figures. The conversations are a lot different. My computer teacher was hinting that I might be able to work there in a few years. But could I live in a small town, probably not. But it was nice to be wanted. My class at the AIOC is going good I had my second class yesterday and it is getting better. I think that I do like to teach but it is a lot of work to get a lesson plan done and work full time in the industry. But I am so far enjoying it. But that is an update so far.

First Class

I had my frist class yesterday at the Art Institute of OC. I would say it went Ok, not bad but not super great either. I did enjoy it and I am looking forward for the rest of the class.

I went to the new hire orientation at the Art Institute Of OC on Tues day and a Faculty meeting on Wed, because I am now teaching a character rigging class on Wed nights. Those Sexual Harassment videos are funny, I mean could you update them please. The 70's hair and suits are killing me. How are you supposed to take them seriously when you can't stop starring and laughing at the bad hair and ties. But I am looking forward to this teaching thing. I hope I like it as much as I think I will.

There's something moving in there!

Oh man Ollie has started kicking and moving around. Holy crap, is that so cool and so creepy at the same time. I have seen to many alien movies to not be a little creeped out, feeling something kick and pushing out on Heathers belly. But on the other hand it is neat to feel him, I do not know how to explain it but it is cool. I can not wait for him to get old enough to play with.

ITS A BOY

Heather and I got back from the doctor on Monday and we found out we are having a boy. So his name will be Ollie, not sure yet about the middle name but we are working on it. We might name him Oliver and call him Ollie but not sure. Our families do not like but we don't care. Rock on Ollie. I will put up pictures up soon.

update

It has been a while again, but what can you do. I need to work on my demo reel, but no time. I did get offered a job teaching one class at the Art Institute Orange County. Which should be cool. I taught a 6 hour demo on lighting at Laguna School of Art and Design, that went well. I am still at Omation right now still having fun. Heather is begining to show now, and we find out the sex of the baby on the 20th of March. Yeah!!! And Heather can not wait to go shopping. Yikes!! Finding baby furniture is not easy at all, the stuff at the stores do not match and the things online never really do either.
We bought new living room furniture which is nice we can finally get our condo finished and find a place for everything. Hopefully we will have the baby rooms empty in the next 2 weeks so we can fill it back up.

It has been a while

Hey sorry for the lag in time I have been busy these past couple of weeks. Trying to finish up in my clean-up Dept last weeks. Get a new job, get a new computer up and running and doing my taxes and painting a bathroom. I am tried! Lets see the bathroom issue. So I started painting my upstairs half bathroom (the smallest room in the comdo, maybe 4ft by 5ft) two weeks ago. We picked out a beautiful candy red for it it was going to compliment our accent wall in the master bedroom perfectly. So I prep the room tape it off sand the walls fill the holes everthing start to put the paint on and it won't cover the light yellow under it. ARRRRRRGGG! But like any man I would not be defeted by some stupid yellow wall. I kept on paint the whole thing and getting more and more angry about the color as I went. When I got down with the first coat I had to laugh. The walls were spotchy and gross. So I thought to my self maybe I got a bad batch of paint called Lowes and got them to trade out for a new can. Come home and start the second coat. No better. After 2 coats of Red paint I can still see yellow under it. Are you fucking kidding! But onward I went painting 1 wall for a third time. Can still see yellow. So after a few choice curse words and screaming. I called Heather at work and she says well I guess we will have to do another color. Ah Shit. One day wasted. Day Two i go to Lowes and I them find out that Red is not an easy collor to paint and sometimes it takes up to 8 coats to cover. i think to myself Thanks for telling me that now dipshit. But now instead of just buying blue to cover it with the red already on the wall I have to also get a primer colled to match the paint so we won't see the Red, that you can yellow under it. I get it home and the primer goes on smoth and wonderfull and the first coat of blue paint goes on easly. But the blue paint takes a few hours to dry. And once it does It needs a second coat. Well it is 10:30 pm on Sunday. So off I go putting the second coat on it. Finish and go to bed. Well I wait two days tp pull the tape off. And when I do guess what I find RED PAINT under the tape SHIT. Now I have to touch up the entire room. Needless to say I spent another day repainting the lines and runner boards. and sink and mirrors. 3 days to paint the smallest room in the Condo takes the longest to paint. I painted my large bathroom and Kitchen in One day. Sorry about the rant But I needed it. Good news thought lately is I got to see a sonogram of the Baby Beane these past weeks. that was pretty cool.
